Term Time Only plus two training days

Monday- Friday 8.30am- 3.30pm

Salary scale A1/B1 point 3-6 £18,887 to £20,043 FTE

Actual salary: £14,047 to £14,906 per annum

We are looking to appoint a committed and enthusiastic full time Teaching Assistant to join our wonderful team at St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School, Harrogate.

We are recruiting a qualified and experienced General Teaching Assistant to work in our school in the KS1 and KS2 classes.

Required to start as soon as possible, we require a Teaching Assistant with numeracy and literacy skills (GCSE Grade A-C) who:

·         supports the Catholic ethos of our school

·         has high expectations of children of all groups and abilities.

·         is experienced working with children in primary school in either KS1 and/or KS2.

·         is caring, patient and intuitive to the needs of the children to enable them to access the curriculum as designated by            the teacher.

·         is professional, responsible and aware of the need to maintain confidentiality.

·         has a flexible approach and is willing to help with general classroom activities.

·         is able to communicate effectively with pupils and staff.

·         will undertake lunchtime supervision for half an hour each day.
