CLUBS

Mondays
  • Reading Club - KS1 and KS2 
      Time to read, listen to readers or enjoy an activity based on a book.
Tuesdays
  • Choir - KS2 (Y4 and above)
Wednesdays
  • Virtues Club - different classes each week
      Crafts and games with a theme of a virtue, for example, friendship: they might make a fortune teller game with affirmations.
Thursdays
  • Wellbeing Club - KS1 and KS2 alternate weeks
      Yoga, mindful colouring, games, and meditations.
  • Playleader Club - different classes each week
      Planned physical activities will be led on the playground.    
Fridays
  • Chess Club - Y5 and Y6

Year 5 are doing the Rosary Challenge!

Every day in October, Year 5 will say a decade of the Rosary in class.

Year 5 are enjoying their new book corner. They won the school book corner competition. It has certainly sparked off their interest in reading. Enter text...

Year 5 have used art to express their aspirations, personality and interests.  

Year 5 Emotions Bank

Year 5 enjoy giving each other positive praise and comments using each others emotions cup to develop stronger relationships with each other and ultimately create a fantastic team

September/October - Year 5 are enjoying their Class Novel  'The Boy at the Back of the Class' by Onjali Q.Rauf

Live Remembrance Poetry Workshop by The National Literacy Trust.

Year 5 learnt how to write poetry , edit their drafts and practised techniques to enable them to perform their poetry.
