UPPER KEY STAGE 2 Class Teacher

Location:  St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School, Coppice Rise, Harrogate, HG1 2DP

Required from: Monday 3rd September 2018

Pay Scale:  MPS 1-6 / UPS

Contract Type: Permanent Position and Full Time

The Academy Council is seeking to appoint a talented, motivational and inspiring classroom EYFS teacher for our school, for a maternity cover.

The successful candidates should;

·         Have high expectations of children of all groups and abilities.

GENERAL TEACHING ASSISTANT

Pay Scale:  A1/B1 (8-17) - Scale Point 10 

Contract Type: Initially fixed until 31st August 2019

The Academy Council is seeking to to recruit a qualified General Teaching Assistant to work in our school. The post would be suitable for a person with recent experience of working with children in school or in child care settings.

We require Teaching Assistants who are:

  • Caring, patient and intuitive to the needs of the child to enable them to access the curriculum as designated by the teacher.
  • Professional, responsible and aware of the need to maintain confidentiality.
  • Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
  • Flexible in approach and willing to help with general classroom activities.
  • Able to communicate effectively with pupils and staff.
  • Cover lunchtime duty half an hour each day.
