"Love one another as I have loved you"

We follow the example of Jesus by being:

Loving, Caring, Kind and Sharing.

We believe that each person is gifted, unique and loved by God.

As stated in our May 2015 Section 48 Religious Education Inspection Report,

'The school Mission Statement: ‘Love one another as I have loved you’ is very clearly “lived out” by staff and pupils in the daily life of this school.'

By working together staff, children, parents, governors, the Parish, the local and wider community create a challenging, stimulating and effective learning environment where Christ is our inspiration.

(Ephesians 3:17)

Bishop Marcus Stock, the tenth Bishop of Leeds, wrote these words in his publication
“Christ at the Centre” (2005, revised 2012):

“In the midst of legitimate diversity, all Catholic schools share something in common: they are rooted in Christ, who is to be the centre of their life…Unless a school has Christ at the very heart of all that it is and does, it cannot be a Catholic school”.
